DOT HM126F: Safe Work Practices
Audience
Workers who handle or transport hazardous materials.
Overview: This course focuses on employees who handle as well as transport hazardous materials. The course makes employees aware of the hazards associated with the materials they handle and shows them how to work with these materials safely.
DOT In-Depth HAZMAT Security Training
Audience
Any worker whose company transports or causes the transportation of hazardous materials and are required by the DOT to have a written "Security Plan."
Overview:
This course makes employees aware of the risks associated with transporting hazardous materials and gives them an understanding of their facility's HAZMAT Security Plan.
DOT Security Awareness
Audience:
Any worker involved in the transportation of hazardous materials, including those involved in manufacturing and testing HAZMAT shipping containers, workers transporting these shipments and those involved in loading or unloading the materials.
Overview:
This course focuses on familiarizing employees with the DOT-required security awareness training by giving employees an awareness of the security risks associated with transporting hazardous materials.
DOT Shipping of Hazardous Materials
Audience
All persons who are involved in the shipment of hazardous materials, which includes shipping/receiving personnel.
Overview
This course explains CFR 49, Parts 100-185. Material covered includes North American Emergency Response Guidebook, HAZMAT training requirements for shippers, and using 49 CFR HAZMAT tables and special provisions. This training program explains the proper methods and regulations involved in shipping hazardous materials via the U. S. Postal Service, UPS, or FEDEX.
